The Climate East 100 Day Pledge
Turning Ideas into Action
Climate East 2026 is more than a one-day conference. It is the start of a shared commitment to strengthen climate resilience across the East of England.
As part of the conference, delegates will be invited to make a 100-Day Pledge: a practical commitment to take one action within 100 days that supports collaboration, climate resilience, adaptation or sustainability within their organisation, community, or sector.
The pledge is designed to bring together leaders, practitioners, and partners from across local government, energy, health, transport, environmental organisations and the wider public sector to create tangible change through collective action.
Why Take a Pledge?
Climate resilience cannot be achieved by any single organisation acting alone. The challenges facing our communities, infrastructure and environment require collaboration, innovation and shared responsibility.
The 100-Day Pledge provides a simple but powerful way to:
- Turn conference discussions into real-world action.
- Build new partnerships and strengthen existing ones.
- Share knowledge and expertise across organisations.
- Create momentum for climate resilience across the East of England.
- Demonstrate individual and organisational leadership.
What Could Your Pledge Be?
Your pledge can be large or small, provided it is realistic, measurable and achievable within 100 days.
Examples include:
- Establishing a new partnership with another organisation.
- Sharing climate or resilience data across sectors.
- Launching a local resilience initiative.
- Bringing together a cross-sector working group.
- Developing a community engagement programme.
- Creating a new sustainability project within your organisation.
- Taking practical steps to support nature recovery or climate adaptation.
How to Get Involved
Before the Conference
Start thinking about one action you or your organisation could commit to delivering after Climate East 2026. Consider where collaboration could help accelerate progress and create greater impact.
During the Conference
Delegates will be able to submit their pledge through:
- A dedicated QR code submission form.
- The Climate East Pledge Wall.
- A digital commitment card.
After the Conference
The journey doesn’t stop when the conference ends.
Over the following 100 days, Climate Forum East will showcase pledge stories, partner case studies and progress updates from organisations across the region. Delegates will be encouraged to share successes, challenges and lessons learned, helping to inspire others and strengthen regional collaboration.
