Opportunity East Conference: Post-Conference Report

Published on 24 June 2026

The Opportunity East Infrastructure & Investment Conference 2026 report summarises key discussions from leaders across the public and private sectors on unlocking infrastructure investment in the East of England. It highlights the region’s strengths and growing ambition, while identifying the practical steps needed to move from vision to delivery. These steps range from creating a shared infrastructure pipeline and stronger regional narrative, to improving funding access, coordinating resources, and embedding community benefits.

The report also sets out clear priorities for action, including the proposed creation of an Infrastructure East Alliance to drive long-term collaboration and ensure the region’s ambitions are realised.
