The Online Knowledge Exchange is a series of events designed to share and discuss findings from the MigRefHealth research project.
You are warmly invited to attend the upcoming online seminar from MigRefHealth on ESOL. We will first present the project, findings and recommendations relating to ESOL and then showcase some examples of best practice. Our speakers will be Joy Lam, UK Welcomes Refugees, Yvette Diaz-Munoz, Stamford Diversity Group. Our presenters will each talk briefly about their work; what inspired them, resources required, overcoming difficulties, the involvement of service users in making improvements and some lessons learned along the way. The presentation and conversation will be followed by an audience Q&A.
Our MigRefHealth knowledge exchange events aim to:
- Share information on the initiatives and activities taking place to support health and wellbeing of Refugees/ Migrants and Asylum Seekers’ across our 12 project fieldsites.
- Generate discussion of the opportunities/barriers and challenges around supporting this population, and how they can be addressed.
- Explore with participants the geographical and practical specificities of transferable service design and delivery in their area.
