HR professionals are relied upon to provide the much-needed support and structure during periods of change and local government reorganisation undoubtedly means that challenges lie ahead for our HR community.  This leads us to ask, how can we support our Heads of HR as they lead their organisations through transformation?

As part of our ongoing package of support to our member authorities’ Heads of HR, the Employer Services team at LGE is proud to host a day of inspiration, expert knowledge and connection at our in-person Local Government Essentials East event.

We are thrilled to welcome Emma Djemil, the formidable founder of Be Unstoppable and the HR Big Meet, to talk about how to find strength in uncertainty and how to thrive through challenge and change.  Emma’s relatable, engaging and down to earth approach makes this event is one you won’t want to miss!

The day also features interactive workshops delivered by some of our amazing associates from our Talent Bank LGR Taskforce.  Providing impactful perspectives, these workshops will aim to give you space to reflect, learn and gather your thoughts in readiness for the task ahead.

A copy of the agenda and workshop descriptions will follow shortly.

Alongside the workshops and as part of our support package, we will bring together the outputs of each event and share with attendees.

Please note, spaces are limited to 75 guests and are offered on a first-come, first-served basis to Heads of HR/HR Leads from our member councils only.  No more than two attendees per member council.  Be quick to book so you don’t miss out!

To secure your free place, please register below.

If you have any queries, please email Jayne Cole, Events Manager, LGE email; events@localgoveasteng.gov.uk

This is part of LGE’s wider offer of support to local councils and partners as they navigate the changes associated with English Devolution and Local Government Reorganisation.
