Local Government East runs a series of Virtual Roundtable Discussions focussed around key priorities for local government in the East of England. These sessions are open to all councils in the region. At a LGE roundtable, you will hear from guest speakers and have an opportunity to learn from examples of good practice, share challenges and questions with peers.
Local Government Reorganisation (LGR) brings unique complexities and opportunities for children’s services in the East of England. This Local Government East Roundtable offers a space to:
- Hear insights from those with direct experience of LGR and its impact on children’s services.
- Consider priorities and critical steps needed to deliver and develop children’s services during the transition to new unitary councils.
Who should attend: Chief Executives, Directors of Children’s Services and interested senior officers from councils in the East of England.
