Local Government East has been running a series of roundtable discussions over the last few years, and this programme continues into 2025/26. These sessions are open to all councils in the East of England and their partner organisations. At the LGE roundtable, you will hear from a guest speaker on each theme and have an opportunity to learn from, and share your own examples of, best practice, opportunities, and challenges.
Objectives:
- Share the development of mental health neighbourhood centres in the East of England.
- Consider the role of neighbourhood health plans led by Health and Wellbeing Boards in improving mental health and wellbeing services.
- Explore the operational and system wide opportunities of improving mental health and wellbeing services through a neighbourhood health approach.
Who should attend: Local Council Leaders and Chief Executives, Health and Wellbeing Board Chairs, Cabinet Members and Directors for Adult and Children’s Services, Public Health and Housing, Integrated Care Board Chairs, Chief Executives and leads for neighbourhood health, VCSE, NHSE and DHSC in the East of England.
