Anita Powell has dedicated over ten years of her life to working and volunteering within the third sector. Her projects have aimed to help men, women, and young people get back into work, engage creatively, improve their mental health, and overcome isolation, develop their careers, build their confidence, and eliminate barriers that might prevent them from succeeding.
Anita has also provided support to people who have been unemployed for a long time, helping them get back into college or work. Additionally, she has worked with young people to improve their mental health, support their transition back to work or college, and help ex-offenders reintegrate into society. She has also helped mothers get back into work and provided support to single-parent households. In her heritage and cultural projects, she has acted as a menopause activist and facilitator.
Anita believes that true delivery is not just about PowerPoint presentations; it’s about understanding the barriers people face and helping them develop accountability to eliminate those obstacles. She believes in developing awareness of practical opportunities and understanding clients personal strengths to help individuals achieve their full potential.
