Further to another very competitive and successful recruitment process at the East of England Local Government Association, including this time conducting an all virtual assessment centre, we are delighted to announce we have appointed Joe Winter as the East of England LGA’s new senior manager for Business Development, Communications and Marketing.
Joe will be joining us from Monday 10 August and brings a wealth of experience from his current role leading the business development and marketing of the School’s Choice Offer in Suffolk, which has gone from strength to strength.
Joe impressed the panel with his vision for the East of England LGA’s commercial offer, his approach to relationship management with commercial partners, the evident results he has achieved at School’s Choice, and his enthusiasm and commitment in taking this next important step in his career with the team at the East of England LGA. He has already started to engage with the organisation (invited to key meetings in advance of start date) to ensure a smooth transition.
Joe has said: “I am delighted to be joining the East of England LGA at this time. My goal is to ensure the East of England LGA is the provider of choice for all our members. We deliver services throughout the Eastern region to a diverse member base, and my vision is to ensure we adapt and evolve to support the communities we all serve”
