Hertsmere Borough Council supported by East of England Local Government Association Director Michelle Kirk held a wholly digital recruitment exercise, successfully recruiting to a key Executive Director role in the council.
Using a combination of on-line assessment, timed activities and virtual interviews (via Microsoft Teams) the council have now appointed their new Director.
The process went smoothly and was well received by candidates, Councillors and the Managing Director.
Working closely with the Head of HR, Michelle Kirk supported the process throughout.
