The Rosmini Centre Conference – 2019

https://www.rosminicentrewisbech.org/the-rosmini-centre-conference-london.html

This year’s conference is being held at the Friends Meeting House on Euston Road in London.
The themes we are focusing on are “The Impact of Migration in Fenland” and “Modern Day Slavery in Fenland”.  We have been working with two Academic teams, one led by Dr.Margaret Greenfields of New University, Buckinghamshire and the other by Professor Gary Craig, a leading authority on Modern Day Slavery.

They will be supported by a range of speakers who will be able to add their own perspective to the topics. There will also be a Q&A session giving attendees the opportunity to explore the aspects they find interesting in greater depth with acknowledged experts.

Not only have we got a great set of speakers lined up, the really good news is that because of support from the Department for Communities and Local Government via their Controlling Migration Fund, we are able to offer places FREE of charge.

The Conference will be taking place on the 6th November 2019 – starting at 10:00 and finishing at 16:00. The venue is the Friends Meeting House, which is 173 Euston Road, London NW1 2BJ (it’s opposite Euston Station). A light lunch and teas/coffees etc. are included.
Places are limited and we are now taking reservations. We expect that this event will be very popular, so we are working on a first come, first serve basis. To reserve your place or request further information please email us on RosminiConference@gmail.com

We are pleased to invite you to this year’s Rosmini Centre Conference which will be taking place at the Friends Meeting House, Euston Road, London on the 6th November 2019.
The conference will give a unique insight into both the Impact of Migration and Modern Day Slavery in a rural setting. It will be of particular interest to those working in both front line and more strategic roles in areas where Migration together with Exploitation and Modern Day Slavery feature are significant features of the local landscape.

We will be basing the conference around these twin themes with presentations of reports from academic teams who have been working with us on these projects in Fenland. The report presentations will be supported by a range of other speakers who will put their own perspective on the issues raised.

Support from the Department for Communities and Local Government via the Controlling Migration Fund allows us to offer places at this event free of charge.
