Refugees talk about their experience with WW4RI support.

Published on 5 June 2023

We’re delighted to have received some great coverage in the media over the last week about the great work the SMP WW4RI Project are doing with refugees in the area.

Over the Bank Holiday weekend, Syrian refugee Boshra Hasan was featured in the Colchester Gazette talking about her experience, as she urges more refugees to take advantage of the SMP’s support and services. You can read the full article here: https://www.gazette-news.co.uk/news/23529134.colchester-translator-shows-refugees-can-offer-society/

She was also interviewed by Heart Radio about her work as a translator and about the work the SMP and MENTA are doing to support the region’s refugees with their business plans. This interview aired throughout the day on Monday, as part of the show’s news bulletin. You can listen back on the Global Player App.

Yuriy Manzhos was also featured in Suffolk News, talking about the launch of his business, which creates board games.
