On the Right Track!

Published on 28 October 2020

Career Track is part of Tendring District Council and has successfully worked with businesses in Essex and Suffolk for over 35 years.

Career Track can tailor an apprenticeship programme to suit the needs of your business and offer a full and FREE recruitment service for any apprenticeship vacancy.

Career Track deliver apprenticeship programmes to small and large organisations across Essex and Suffolk. The team of experienced and qualified assessors support apprentices and employers through the apprenticeship schemes on offer.

Available apprenticeships include;

  • Customer Service, Business Administration
  • Team Leading and Management
  • Public Service Operational Delivery Officer (specifically for local authorities)

Whilst the apprenticeship levy will fund the programmes; Local Authorities are also able to access additional employer incentives up to a total of £3,000 for each apprentice an employer takes on, there is no maximum number of apprentices (up to 31 January 2021).

With high success rates, and many apprentices progressing onto University courses, Career Track received an outstanding accreditation from Ofsted during a monitoring visit in 2019.

“During a recent survey, 90% of apprentices stay on in their place of work after completing an apprenticeship 86% of employers said apprenticeships developed skills relevant to their organisation, and 78% reported improved productivity.”
