Find out more about EELGA’s Talent Bank

Published on 15 November 2022

Joe Winter, Head of Business Development, Marketing and Communications at the East of England LGA (EELGA), answers some FAQ’s on the organisation’s ever-popular ‘Talent Bank’.

What is the EELGA Talent Bank?

The Talent Bank offers all 50 local authorities in the East of England access to offer 70 experts from everything from HR investigations to Housing. In addition, it saves councils money by ensuring consistently low day rates.

How does it work?

The Talent Bank has the unique position whereby services can be purchased by our member authorities with exemption from the public procurement regulations (previously referred to as Teckal exemption), avoiding a lengthy and costly procurement process. As a not-for-profit organisation, our charging model is based on cost recovery and not maximising profit, allowing councils to procure only the support they need.

Where can I find out more information on the experts you have available?

All of our associates and their skill sets are available to view here.

For more information, or to discuss your council’s individual needs, please get in touch with Joe Winter: joe.winter@eelga.gov.uk
