Building on successful events held recently in the East of England on collaboration for water security, Local Government East (LGE) is hosting a virtual event on water infrastructure projects in the planning pipeline for the region.
This inaugural event will provide an opportunity for local authority directors across the region to be updated on nationally significant projects coming forward to supply public water and to discuss strategic priorities and resourcing.
The event will be run in partnership with national water regulators through the Regulatory Alliance for Progressing Infrastructure Development (RAPID) and other key statutory bodies, including the Planning Inspectorate.
It is part of a wider programme of events that we will be running to support sustained collaboration to help drive resilience, economic growth and environmental recovery in the East of England.
