I am an apprentice – is this event for me?
This is for you if you want to:
- Build confidence and teamwork skills
- Meet apprentices from other councils
- Try something different from your day‑to‑day role
- Add a national event and achievement to your CV
- Compete for prizes and recognition
What will I be doing?
You’ll work in virtual teams with other apprentices to tackle practical challenges linked to real local government scenarios. The event is interactive, supportive and designed for learning.
You don’t need to prepare anything in advance. There’s a short online briefing the week before so you know exactly what to expect.
Who can take part?
You can join if you:
- Are a Level 2 or Level 3 apprentice, or
- Completed your apprenticeship in the last 12 months, and
- Work in local government in England, Wales or Northern Ireland
You don’t need to be the most confident person in the room – just willing to get involved and give it a go.
I am booking on behalf of an apprentice (HR / apprenticeship lead / other)
