Please register your details below to confirm your attendance at this year’s East of England APPG and Local Government East Parliamentary Reception.

The East of England APPG and Local Government East joint Annual Parliamentary Reception which will see the launch of our new report ‘Opportunity East: One Year On – How the East of England will help deliver the Government’s economic growth, clean energy and new housing missions’.

The East of England has a modern innovation-based economy exemplifying what a region with a modern industrial strategy looks like. By 2035 the East of England could be a £235bn economy powering the equivalent of 95% of all UK homes through clean energy.  It is set to deliver 227,000 homes, one sixth of the Government’s 1.5million target, over the next five years and is at the forefront of the devolution agenda with two new Mayors to be elected next May.

Once you have registered to attend, a generic confirmation email will be sent. Approximately 10 days in advance of the event date, detailed information will be sent to you (directly from LGE) confirming all the logistics for the day and including your official invitation.

Please note: on the day of the reception you must be in possession of your official invitation (whether an electronic or hardcopy version), along with photo ID, as you will need to show this on demand in order to gain access. The visitor entrance to Portcullis House is on Victoria Embankment (postcode SW1A 2LW).

This reception is invitation only.
