Join peers across the East of England for the first LGE Early Careers Leads Network meeting, a collaborative space for those who design, deliver, and support early careers programmes (such as apprenticeships, graduate schemes, internships, work experience and beyond).
The aim of the network is to connect you with colleagues to share insights, explore innovative approaches, and tackle shared problems – ensuring your early careers initiatives are impactful and inclusive.
The network plans to meet twice per year. At each meeting, you’ll be able to:
- Share and learn from best practices in attracting and supporting early talent
- Collaborate to tackle common challenges, such as care leaver support, school engagement, and inclusive recruitment
- Spot opportunities for regional collaboration, campaigns, or shared initiatives
- Stay informed about emerging trends, policy shifts, and funding impacting early careers
Whether you’re leading an apprenticeship programme or managing broader early careers strategy, your input is encouraged. By attending, you’ll help build a dynamic, innovative community of early careers professionals across LGE.
Places are open to early careers leads from LGE member councils (including apprenticeship leads, HR, workforce planning, and talent development roles).
If you have any questions about this network please email es@localgoveasteng.gov.uk
We look forward to welcoming you.
