  • Asset Management

Neil has been operating through Cyclo Consulting Limited (Founding Director) and Remit Consulting LLP since December 2008. During this period, he has led Corporate Real Estate transformation programmes, implemented Corporate Property Model models, and developed Strategic Asset Management Plans for a range of public sector organisations.

Previously, he was the Interim Director of Asset Management at Metropolitan Police from June 2009 to May 2011 , where he led a Corporate Real Estate change programme that delivered over £6.5 million in savings for FY 2009/10. He was responsible for directing a team of over 50.

Before that, he held roles as a Partner then Director at GVA (strategic property consultancy)  and as a Director at Gleeds Management Consultancy. His earlier career includes being a Management Consultant at Price Waterhouse.

Notable Achievements/Value Added

  • Led the Corporate Real Estate change programme at Metropolitan Police, which delivered over £6.5 million of savings for FY 2009/10.
  • Delivered the Seacole Centre temporary hospital as Interim Director of Estates for Surrey Heartlands ICS (June 2019 – July 2020).
  • Authored the 2010-14 Metropolitan Police Authority Estate Strategy.
  • Wrote the plans and programmes section for the RICS Public Sector Asset Management Guidelines.
  • Worked with 14 public bodies in the West Midlands to map assets, develop options for asset rationalisation, and draft four business cases.
  • Chair of Governor at a local primary school for 20 years – OFSTED Outstanding.

  • Public sector real estate, including Corporate Real Estate transformation and Corporate Landlord implementation.
