Matt has 15 years experience working in social housing, previously as a Director of Business Improvement with an ALMO, and as Head of Asset Management before that. More recently Matt has been working as a Senior Consultant for national housing consultancy companies such as ARK, House Mark and HQN, supporting Councils and Housing Associations in procurement, compliance and reviewing business processes.

Matt started his career as an Army Officer in the Royal Artillery serving two tours of Afghanistan.

  • Raising the standard of the Sheltered Housing in an ALMO through a stock review and subsequent design, procurement, and management of two multi-million pound refurbishments.
  • Providing energy efficient homes by leading a PV installation programme to 2,700 homes.
  • Managed the implementation of an organisations’ housing management system.
