Jane is an independent Executive Coach, Supervisor & Facilitator with over 40 years’ experience in international/national business and change consultancy.

She started her Coaching career in the late 1990’s as an external consultant managing big redundancy programmes for two major national Outplacement Consultancies. A key part of her role was to provide coaching support to Senior Managers as they implemented difficult change programmes. She was there to support them when the going got tough and they learned that they could trust her to listen unconditionally as they worked through their plans, shared their concerns and voiced their emotions.

After 5 years as Development Director for an East Anglian based Management Consultancy, Jane left to become independent and focus on her passion for coaching and for helping to support and develop current and future generations of coaches and supervisors through training, supervision & mentoring. She has developed and delivered training for coaches, mentors and managers across many sectors

As a coach and supervisor, her clients particularly appreciate how she listens and focuses on being present to what emerges in each moment of the relationship between us.

Testimonials/Case Studies

Case Study 1 The Client was an individual who was suffering an acute amount of stress because of her role in Democratic Services. She had a difficult relationship with her manager and was finding it ‘impossible’ to cope with the workload. Our work together focused on understanding her own dynamics -her management and communication styles – and working on ways to adapt them to others to get the best out of her limited resources. We took a positive psychology approach and focused on what was within her control and what she could do, not what she couldn’t. We also explored her personal values, and it was this that prompted her to think about what was really important to her. A few months into our work, a restructure gave her an opportunity to move into a different role where the working environment and the job content were more aligned with her values.

Case Study 2

The Client was a Finance Manager who struggled with confidence and felt overwhelmed and stressed by the volume of work she believed was expected of her.  Our work together focused on developing her self-belief and confidence as well as managing boundaries around her work.  Part of the work together was to help her find the confidence to finish her qualifications. Having achieved a good result, she was promoted and soon found that she had more agency and, as a result of what she had learned in our work together, was able to start enjoying life again.
