Notable Achievements/Value Added

  • Working with East of England Local Government Association (now LGE) as an Associate as part of their Talent Bank providing Executive Search for Senior Roles in Local Government within the Eastern Region. (Norfolk, Suffolk, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Cambridge and Essex).
  • Extensive experience and success in finding, attracting and persuading ‘passive’ candidates to consider new opportunities within their specialist field.
  • Highly skilled in ‘mapping the market,’ researching using different tools to identify potential candidates, screening CV’s and Supporting Statements as well as conducting Telephone Interviews. Design ‘Competency Based Interview’ questions bespoke to each role.
  • Highly competent in identifying a suitable Longlist, providing Pen Portraits to the client and agreeing a Shortlist with them ready for the Assessment Centre and final panel interview.

Hertfordshire County Council

  • Worked at Hertfordshire County Council as Senior L&OD Officer where I was responsible for leading on the introduction of ‘Values & Behaviours’ across the whole organisation
  • This involved engaging with key stakeholders at Director Level across six Service Divisions
  • Rolled out an ‘Employee Engagement’ piece to introduce ‘Values & Behaviours’ so that all staff had the opportunity to contribute and provide their feedback
  • Worked closely with the Internal Comms Team to roll out the strategy for the implementation of Values & Behaviours
  • Was responsible for embedding the ‘Values and Behaviours’ into the Performance Management Development Scheme (PMDS)
  • Led on the process design and mapping to introduce and incorporate Company Values and Leadership Behaviours into the PMDS Appraisals

Nestor Healthcare Group

  • Worked at Nestor Healthcare Group Plc as Head of Learning & Development,  involved in working with Local Government across England, Scotland and Wales
  • Role was to ensure that all the training to Social Care front line staff provided by ‘Social Care Trainers’ was meeting CSCI (Commission for Social Care Inspection) requirements
  • Involved in tenders for a wide variety of training requested within the Service Level Agreement (SLA) between Nestor Healthcare Group Plc and the Local Authority across both Adult and Children’s Services
  • Met with CSCI Inspectors regularly across England, Scotland and Wales to ensure that the training we provided was meeting all regulatory requirements
